This library provides a driver for the Essential Reality P5 Data Glove, a USB device that reports five finger positions and eight X/Y/Z Infrared (IR) locations. The library functions as a polling system, and the repository includes a demo (p5dump.c) that demonstrates simple usage of the library. There is a kernel patch included to deal with an issue where some 2.4.x kernels' hid.o module will "consume" the P5 HID endpoint, a problem also experienced with Watcom tablets2.
It's important to note that the repository is under the LGPL-2.1 license8.
